Google Profits Scams Finally Being Addressed By Google!

Several months ago I made a You Tube video about several of the Google “Scams” going on using the “Google” name. The scams worked by advertising that buyers could “Make Money from Google.” The buyers purchased a “DVD” for $1.97 it was suppose to be just to cover the shipping and handling but then they got hit with sever hidden charges and forced continuity that ran about $147 dollars in less than 30 days. How do I know this, well I found out the hard way. Google contends in their lawsuit that buyers received nothing of value and were subjected to high recurring charges on their cards. Some buyers even contacted Google for refunds or to stop the recurring fees another reason why Google finally felt compelled to sue. My Youtube video has over 3500 views to date and ranks right up at the top of Google if you search the keywords Google Profits. At the time I was so mad after trying with no success to get my money back that I told the guy on the phone who would not give me anything other than his first name that I was going to go out on the net and do all I can to make sure they don’t rip off anyone else. At the time it was about my only option. I also wrote the FTC and filed a complaint. So I hope next that they contact as many people as they can to file a class action suit against them.

Pacific Webworks of Illinois was one of the name  that were slapped with a class action suit last month in Illinois. I am sure there will be many more names to follow.

As an Internet Marketer I am happy to see this finally being addressed. There are many great programs made by Internet Marketers that work great, but it only takes a few like the ones involved in this scam to hurt Internet Marketing for all the legit business owners out there who work really hard at providing valuable content and programs in the money making niche.

So today I say “Bravo” Google. I wish you had addressed it sooner, but better late than never. If you would like to see the video I made you can click here and read the numerous comments left. There are a few comments in it from people who where most likely involved in the fraud. I got a few angry comments and emails but out of the 3500 views and 52 comments only 3 to4 were negative.Oh yeah, “Google”I will be happy to testify if needed!

Flying Use To Be Fun! What Happened?

Since I started being an Internet Marketer the last few years I have had to fly more than I use to in a long time. In just the last few months I have been on four horrible flights. Last night on my way home from Atlanta I started to think about the good old days of flight, and how much I use to love getting on a plane. Now of course the stupid terrorist deserve a fare share of the demise of what use to be a pleasant experience for most, but now the airlines are doing their best to finish the job off. As I sat in my seat just angry at having to show up to the airport 3 hours early, I started to remember some great flights I had before all the inconveniences we deal with today  just trying to get someplace.

My mind went back to 1989-1990 when I had my best time on a plane ever. I was in the US Navy coming home on leave for the first time in over a year. I was stationed in Japan and had to save money for an entire year just to afford the ticket which was over $1200 even back then. I was flying North West Airlines and when I got to the airport the flight was over booked. The pilot who was a former Naval Aviator found out that I was in the navy going home for the first time in over a year. He came up to me and said,”Don’t worry son, your getting on this plane.”

Now the pilot is holding up the plane just for me.He makes an announcement that he has a very important person who has to be on this flight and that North West would give someone a free flight to any place in the world if they gave up their seat. Well I am standing right at the door of the plane. Just then a very attractive flight attendant who I still remember to this day named Anna Ornsbee came up to me and said,”You wouldn’t happen to be related to Emilo Estevez would you?” To which I responded, “If it will get me on this plane, I am!” She laughed and said no really are you. I said, ” No, but people constantly think I am him or ask me if I am his brother.” It use to happen to me so much back them I really must have looked a lot like Emilo a lot. In fact it was funny when we would go out in Japan my friends would on purpose call me Emilo and the Japanese people all around would start taking my picture…No doubt their are still Japanese people walking around with pictures of me thinking they got a picture of Emilo Estevez in Japan…oops! So finally someone gives up their seat and it’s in first class. The pilot says to Anna give it to him, so my new best friend Anna who is walking me to first class says to me, “Do you mind if we play a joke on the other flight attendants?” To which I of course say,”NO.” Now everyone on this plane is looking at me to try and figure out who this important person could be. Anna says to me I am going to go tell all the other girls you are Emilo Estivez’s brother. Keep in mind he was a big star back then in 1989-90. So Anna starts playing it up big time in front of the other flight attendants. Who are bringing me drink, after drink ,and I don’t know if it was the fact that I was in Japan for a year, but to my recollection these were some of the hottest flight attendants I had ever seen in my life. So before long they are all taking photo’s with me and flirting with me and I just had the time of my life. It was the fasted 16 hour flight in the history of aviation. When we finally landed in Chicago Anna told them our little joke…One Flight Attendant asked me to go to a Party with them but I really wanted to get home so I said good bye to my new friends and headed for my next plane from Chicago to Philadelphia. I stayed in touch with Anna for a long time by mail and I even got stationed in her home state of Washington a year later where she offered to show me around. We eventually lost touch with each other, but I have never forgotten how she help give a young navy service man the best flight of all time and his 16 hours of fame.

So now I am back from my trip back in time to the reality of being on this plane that wants to charge for bags. Forcing the heard to all carry on because no one wants to pay extra for a normal size piece of luggage. Stupid airlines that don’t even assign you a seat so it’s like a flash back to being on the school bus as a kid trying to get a good seat. Fifty dollar charges to jump on a earlier flight that’s not even full , so not cool… (Delta), and flight attendants who wear shorts and golf shirts. Sorry maybe it’s they guy in me, but I still like to see a beautiful well dressed flight attendant on my plane. I guess the time will never come again when we don’t have to take off our shoes or can leave to the airport 15-20 minutes before our flight and make it on the plane in time… (Yes I did that in Las Vegas before 9/11)

SO I BEG YOU, CAN’T WE TRY TO BRING BACK THE CLASS THAT USE TO BE PART OF GETTING ON A PLANE!

How do you feel? Do you, like me, miss the good old days of getting on a plane! Please feel free to share your great flights or things that now make you crazy about getting on a plane today! In my comment section.

My Experience With IMGold Group & Matt Bacak

Four months ago in Atlanta, GA I was at and event held by Keith Wellman (Internet Marketer and Creator or Easy Sales Formula)At that time I was lucky enough to meet  Matt Bacak for the first time. What I really liked about Matt was his straight forward approach. What I like to call the “No BS don’t sugar coat it method” or as some people would say, “Just ripped the bandaid straight off.”

Matt is in my opinion a, “what you see is what you get guy”and people who know me know I am the same way. In other words, if I ask you to tell me what you think about a video, webpage, article, etc. I want your honest opinion. Most of you know that I am a police officer, but many of you probably don’t know that I work 9 months of the  year in a high school. One of the things that makes me crazy is the political correctness the administrators I work with have to deal with and abide by every day. I think it’s one of the reasons they like having me in the building. You see when I am dealing with a problem parent of a problem child I am able to use the Matt Bacak approach, the no “BS Method.” If you ask me, Do you think I am a bad parent?…I will tell you, “Yes” If I do! If you ask me if you are being unreasonable, I will tell you “Yes,” when you are being an unreasonable and when your child is destine for jail if you don’t start parenting them well I’ll tell you just that, even if 99% of the time it’s to late for them to fix. So if you appreciate a straight shooter approach to mentoring then you want to train with Matt.

Today I had my second in person meeting with Matt Bacak and other IMGOLD members. Matt’s coaching group “IMGOLD” had a one day session just for the members of this group at the end of the three day Survival Tactics For Tough Time Conference. It was really awesome to be able to ask Matt questions in a much smaller setting than in a conference with over 500 people like we had been involved with the last few days. We also meet every monday night on a conference call but we send our questions in ahead of time. The call can go for a few hours at a time, but Matt’s always on time and has only missed like 3-4 calls in several years of doing this group. You can send things into Matt for him to review like a webpage you built or a squeeze page and he will give you his honest opinion so if it sucks he will tell you and if it’s good he tells you as well. But he also guides you in what to do to get it right. So if you want to work with one of the Internets Best Marketers out there joining Matt’s IMGold group is a great choice. He is very good to the members of this group. We all got to attend this conference this past weekend for free. Many People Paid $1000 dollars to attend. He even gave us all a comp ticket to bring a friend. So it’s not cheap to join at around $97 a month, but I can tell you this Matt really did give us GOLD today. I can’t tell you what he did because it was only for members, but just one of the things he taught us today was so awesome it was worth my entire membership price. So if you are looking for a mentor to follow, Matt Bacak is definitely a great choice!

I almost forgot he also sends you a “BBS”Big Box of Stuff when you join as well as every month you get all the calls on CD and each question is indexed for you so you can go right to the answer you are looking for without having to hear the entire CD. He also give you a case study DVD each month and I have been able to find the answer to all of my questions on how to do thing pretty fast on the CD’s. Oh yeah I forgot my favorite thing you also get Matt’s Internet Marketing Dirt News Letter. This is my favorite thing other than the ability to get my questions answered by Matt himself. Matt also has a totally awesome staff and his assistant Tamara is just great and actually answers the phone and calls you back as well. Matt told us today that he is making some big changes in his life and he is focusing on his Family and his IMGOLD members. So after seeing how well things went at this conference and at our private session today, I look forward to learning even more from this “Internet Marketing Legend” and if it can help me be even a fraction as successful as Matt is it will be worth every penny. Survival Tactics For Tough Times Is A Huge Hit!

Mark Joyner And Matt Bacak Reach Out To Help The Internet Marketing Community!

With a line up like this it’s hard not to hit a home run! Mark Joyner, Matt Bacak, Robert Allen, Bill Glazer, Marshal Sylver, Shaun Casey, Ted Nicholas, Kevin Wilke, Joe Sugarman, Keith Wellman, and Dan Kuschell, where just some of the huge name presenters at the STFTT Event. I personally saw and sat in the audience next to other big name guys like Joey Smith and Tellman Knudson. It was truly a who’s who in the “Internet Marketing World” mixing it up with new marketers. It was totally cool to see theses huge Internet Marketing Legends, but what was even more amazing was the presence of guys like Ted Nicholas, Joe Sugarman who almost everyone one of these Guru’s attribute their huge success in internet marketing now being possible because of the things these marketing legends did . In fact Matt Bacak went into great detail on how these men where his mentors and how these guys laid the tracks for of of us who sell and promote products online.

My notes from the event are filled with so many great comments from these great speakers. Mark Joyner explained to everyone that the “Recession” is and always will be the past. Since it is determined by two consecutive business quarters going down but to keep in mind that all that data is the past. We could be out of a recession now and not even know it. His main point was, What do you do in a recession to make money? Answer, “The same thing you do when your not in one.”

Matt Bacak gave us a cool look into what it’s like in his office and guided us on the proper ways to approach GURU’s….“Don’t Sell Hamburgers To Vegetarians” was his great quote. In other words make sure your offer fits the person’s list you hope to do business with if not you should look for one who does. So in other words Matt sells to internet marketers don’t go to him with a music product or in other words”Don’t Sell Hamburgers To Vegetarians”

Robert Allen told a really great story about how no-one being willing to hire him was the best thing that ever happened to him. After 27 rejections He later figured out what all these employers realized. They knew that Robert was never going to be a great employee because he had the entrepreneurial spirit. Those of us with the entrepreneurial spirit understand that…I guess it the same as, “To many cooks in the kitchen or To many Captains on the boat.” You all know what I mean but the main thing is knowing if this is you. If it is then you better re-consider being someones employee because you will probably end up hating what you do.

If you are just starting out, or if you have never been to an “Off Line Event” like “Survival Tactics For Tough Times.” I am encouraging you to do what ever it takes to get your, “You Know What” to one soon! It will change the way you do business and will open you eyes to new opportunities. This is my fourth event this year. I now mastermind with a group of successful marketers once a week and have many new contacts in the IM Industry. One of my partners is already working with “Keith Wellman” so you just never know when you might make that big break and be one of the next IM GURU’s but I always like to remind everyone that you don’t have to be to make it big online. The majority of what I do is all local business and  it can be hugely lucrative as well. They say if you get one good idea from a conference it was worth it. I have an entire notebook full so I must have hit the mother load. I will leave you with this quote from Ted Nicholas, “The price of education is paid once, the price of ignorance is paid forever.” So next time your wondering if it’s worth the time and money to go to a off line event remember this post and I am sure your answer will be Hell Yes!”
